Limericks
This week, we are going to focus on a comic style of poem called a limerick.
Syllables play a main part of the limerick construction along with rhythm and rhyme.
Watch the clip and go through the power point to learn about the construction of a limerick.
Then use the planning sheet to plan your own. I would like you to base your limerick on one of the Y6 children - remember to make it friendly and kind!
